At Task Advanced, we don't just understand trade contractors, we are trade contractors. Our business wasn't born in a corporate boardroom or built by tech executives who have never held a tool. It was built by a multi-generational trade family that knows the exact weight of a tool belt, the sting of working in sub-zero cold or blistering heat, and the frustration of losing a $5,000 job because you were on a ladder when the phone rang.

Task Advanced is a Veteran & Family Owned and Operated Business dedicated to helping trade contractors scale without losing their minds or their time.

Construction and the trades are literally in our blood:

In 1973, my grandfather started our family’s construction business. Growing up, the job site was our family living room. My dad’s mom sat in the front office managing the books, while his sister handled accounting. My father, my grandfather, my uncles, my cousins, and my grandfather’s brother were all carpenters and tradesmen. Almost every member of my family worked in the business at some point. Today, that legacy proudly continues as my own daughter works in the trades, making us a 4th-generation trade family.

My wife’s side of the family shares the exact same grit. Her father was a master carpenter who built intricate, highly detailed custom wine cellars and fine furniture. Mine and my wife's extended family continues to work as active tradespeople today. We know what it takes to run a family business because our families have been doing it over the last 55+ years.

From the Quartermaster Corps to the General Contractor's Desk:

Before launching Task Advanced, I spent nearly two decades working in construction as a carpenter, project manager, and project supervisor.

I also had the honor of serving in the United States Army as a member of the Quartermaster Corps. In the Army, the Quartermaster Corps is responsible for logistics, supply chains, and making sure troops have the exact resources they need, exactly when they need them. Execution and timing mean everything for a successful mission.

After my military service, I brought that logistical knowledge and military discipline back to the civilian world. I started, built, and managed my own small General Contracting business. I grew it from the ground up, built it to support my family, and eventually employed family members alongside me.

Through every phase from framing in the freezing mud to managing payroll at midnight, I experienced the relentless strain that trade business owners face every day. I know the headache, the heartache, as well as the feeling of satisfaction with a job well done.
